I bought an '85 Chevy 1/2 ton from a father-son drag racing team and plan to spend the winter accumulating needed parts for restoration. It's fairly streetable as is, but the 4:11 may have to go for mileage purposes. I picked up 2 decent doors and a sliding rear window this week and am anxious to paint and hang them but it's COLD here in Michigan and I'm a bit short on heat in my shop. I'll try to get pics soon. How about the rest of you? Show us your projects- I'd love to see what's in your garage. -Skylark8

Working on my interior and I will have some pics later in the week. Next, going to re-paint the frame and engine. That will run me pretty close to out of money, so we'll have to see what's in our budget for latter in the winter.

Taking time this winter to do some stuff to the Tudor and with the help of a buddy saved myself a bundle. The gauge panel in my car was in pretty sad shape, and I wanted to get another one. It had to be a Stewart Warner ensign design to keep it looking right. The cost was around $180.00 for the panel with shipping, but with some brain storming and some help from a good friend we came up with a beautiful engine turned stainless steel panel. Total cost $0.00. I'd post a picture but I'm not sure how.

Posting the pictures are easy once you do it once. First step is the photo must be hosted somewhere. I use photobucket myself. www.photobucket.com You can use just about any image hosting sites out there. Once you upload the photo to a site (like photobucket) you will be given a link to that photo. the link might be something like the following: i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj141/raceit17/100_0198.jpg Next you copy and paste the link onto the Thread (post) were you would like it to be shown. Now highlight the link as if you were going to copy and paste it again, and then click on the picture frame in the above "TAG" options. It's right next to the email and globe button. If you hold your cursor over it then it will say "Insert Image". Just click on the picture frame one time and it will add a "Tag" at the beginning and end of your photo link. You can then hit the preview button below an you will see if it works before having to actually post it. When using PHOTOBUCKET you also have the choice to copy and paste the " code that is already added to your link to save a step. You can find pictures all over the net if your just looking for a picture to try. All you have to do is right click on the image and then when the menu pops up click on "Properties" and then copy and paste the picture's Address (URL). Hope this helps, if not let me know and I'll try to take some screen shots and add them. Also make sure you are logged into the forum to get your pictures to work.

cruzn28: I tried to edit it and fix it then I realized it needed the file type at the end (.jpg) Make sure you have the complete link for the photo and then add the tags to it (after it's pasted then highlight the link again lick on the tag that looks like a picture frame, it shouls add the tag [/img to it once you do that.

I can get only one picture per post. I'm going to figure out how to re-size them. This is the new dash panel it has to be cut to shape and for the gauges.
