I am thinking about an S10 project for next year (I have an '85 C10 for this year's project). Anyway, what I'm wondering is : what needs to be done to the suspension to swap engines- like, a 305 or 350 where a 4 cylinder was originally? I put a 289 in an original 6 cylinder Mustang when I was a kid, and the front tires were rubbing the fenders. It also handled like the Queen Mary, but part of that was due to worn steering components. I just jacked the front end up and called it good, but I'm much more quality minded now. Anybody familiar with this swap? I'd appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks- Jon

I know you'll either have to buy new motor mounts or make new motor mounts. The Blazer that I raced had the rear end swapped out and coil springs and ladder bars welded in place. The front suspension stayed the same.
